With many interesting fair contacts our autumn trade fairs, security in Essen and systems in Munich, have finished. In comparison to the last years events both fairs have developed clearly positively. The portion of the professional visitors was big and therefore very interesting for Maxicard. With many customers and prospective customers we could carry on interesting conversations. Our card printers were presented at 8 workstations. As usual our offer to provide a company identity card, was accepted with pleasure. Many thanks to our fair trade visitors and the interesting talks!

As for over ten years now our fair season ends with the systems in Munich. Also this year, the security takes place in Essen, which is every 2nd year. Both fairs have proved themselves and are, beside the CeBIT, the most important fairs for us. Of course we present, as usual, all current printer models as well as news all around the subject plastic-cards. Use the opportunity to get to know your contacts personally and to discuss your projects. We are looking forward to your visit and invite you with pleasure on a refreshing drink.

Rad am Ring

On August, 23rd and 24th the yearly event "Rad&Run am Ring" took place on the Nürburgring. The Maxicard team, consisting of four drivers, lined up for the "24 hours" about a part of the grand prix distance in combination with the "old" north loop. On Saturday conditions got complicated with rain and cold weather, as well as strong headwind on the last 3 km before the finishing line. The team Maxicard achieved after 24 strenuous hours overjoyed the 120th place of 489 teams and improved in comparison to the last year's running about 50 places.

Run am Ring

The perseverance sportsman Thomas Reinschlüssel (team leader technology and personalisation) achieved the 139th place in his age group and mastered the 500 height-metres and 24.4 km long course in 2 hours and 29 minutes and 13 seconds.

In the morning of the 08th of July, 2008 8 employees of Maxicard have met in the "Bethanien Children's Village" in Waldniel. The "Bethanien Children's Village" is a modern public utility institution of the child help and youth welfare. There is place for about 95 children who live in short or long term there. Maxicard helped in this morning building a fence for a paddock.
The children's village plans the offer of therapy horse riding and accepted the offered help by the fence construction with thanks. Up to the midday 2 paddocks could be nearly completely by the good cooperation of the children's village and Maxicard employees. The stakes required for builing the fence were donated by Maxicard.

Using the topic "showing flags against leukaemia" the DKMS (German Bone Marrow Donor Center) distributed 45,000 flags in a nationwide campaign on May 28th, 2008. Occasion was the day of life donation with which the DKMS wants to thank its 1.7 million potential stemm cell donators as well as approx. 14,000 cash donators.
As to express the solidarity and engagement all Maxicard employees "rose the flag" in that day.
For many years Maxicard is donating regularly, instead of handing out christmas gifts to the business partners.

From now on the new software „cardfive VISION“ is available with MAXICARD. This is the logical advancement of the well known and approved cardfive software.

The card printer zebra P100i prints unilaterally in full colour mode as well as in monochrome mode. The P100i allows personalising of plastic cards - simply, fast and reasonably. All current bar codes can be printed on the cards by means of reliable printing technology. Cards with magnetic stripe can be encoded optionally.
An integrated card depot split in 4 fields catches up to 100 cards. The cards can be stored well and compfortably until its application.
Already shortly after product introduction and presentation of the printer on the Cebit in 2008, we could achieve the first sales results.

With many interesting fair contacts the Cebit has come to an end in 2008 for MAXICARD. Once more the professional visitor interest in the fair conversations was very high. Invitations to our customers to visit our exhibition stand were accepted.

The CeBIT in 2008 has shown us again that our complete card printer assortment, from the basic Zebra printer P100i up to the dye sublimation printer IDP680i plus, is popular with customers as well as with prospective customers. The printers were presented in nine workplaces. Our offer to take a identity card with individual photo was used often and with pleasure!

MAXICARD extends its range of card printers with the new model Zebra P330 monochrome. The P330 is a monochrome card printer for one-sided monochrome printing of plastic-cards. It can be used for middle or bigger amounts of cards. Optionally we can deliver the printer with a magnetic stripe encoding module and with a chip encoding module. Additionally, the printer can be equipped with an ethernet port.

The IDP 680i plus with RFID colour ribbon technology is a dye sublimation card printer which can print without margins in outstanding quality on the front and back of a plastic-card. The print speed counts up to 120 single-sided printed, full-coloured plastic-cards per hour. The card feeder catches up to 300 cards in ISO-thickness and is designed as a drawer.

The printer is connected to your PC by a USB 2.0 interface or can be integrated in your companies network using the integrated ethernet interface card. The IDP 680i Plus offers advanced security functions like IPsec, secure erase and UV-prints in dye-sublimation-printing.

Optionally the IDP 460i can be equipped with a coding module for loco- and hico-magnetic stripes as well as the encoding of contact and contactless chipcards.

On the week end of 4.- 5.th August, 2007 the yearly event "Rad&Run am Ring" took place at the Nürburgring. The MAXICARD-Team, consisting of 4 drivers, started with 451 other Teams to deal the 24 hours over a part distance of the Grand Prix circuit including the old "Nordschleife". During the race a total of 13,000 meters height with gradient peak values from up to 17 percent were mastered in 26 rounds. At top speads of nearly 100 kilometers per hour, but also gradients which were to be finished hardly more than step speed, great challenges were put tp person an material.

The IDP card printer series consists of a direct printer and a re-transfer-printer.

Both are planned for a professional application in the production of high quality printed plastic cards. The direct printer destinguishes itself especially by a high printing speed and a very good printing quality. In addition an integrated UV filter counteracts fading of the colours by solar irradiation.

The re-transfer-printer destinguishes itself especially by a brilliantly printing quality.

On this occasion it is easily possible to print cards in small and great quantities, with the same or varying layout in nearly offset printing quality. Both printers print and encode barcodes, magnetic stripes or chips in one go.

From now on you can purchase the direct printer starting at 2,990.00 Euro and the re-transfer-printer starting at 4,990.00 Euro.

With immediate effect the website of Maxicard is also available in english language.

Therewith we want to satisfy our international customers and interested parties. For these customers the descriptions of our products, like cardprinters, plastic-cards and accessories become clearer.

By an easy to handle "language-button" the customer can select the correct language.

From now on available in our online-shop: plainly woven lanyards.

The bands are unprinted, 2.0 cm wide and approx. 90 cm long. They are equipped with a carbine hook and a plastic-spring fastener.

These lanyards are available from stock in 8 different standard colours (grey, yellow, orange, green, red, blue, deep-blue, black, white). Another big advantage is that the bands can be ordered already at the amount of only 1 piece.

For nearly all card printer models of the Zebra and IDP series a Legic® advant installation module is available including the required coding software.

The Legic® advant coding module substitutes functionally the MIMIU-S coding module. In addition to the Legic® media the module also supports RFID standards according to ISO 15693 and ISO 14443.

The Legic® advant technology is convincing by a high security standard for a very fair price.

Of course the "well-tried" MIMIU-S coding module is available likewise furthermore.

Since middle of May we have lowered the prices of our Zebra printer series P330i and P430i!

The P330i printers are 4 colour dye-sublimation printers (4-coloured and monochrome) for one-sided, nearly borderless flexible printing with proven RFID colour ribbon technology.

In addition, the card printer series P430i offers a turning module for the cards to print plastic cards double sided in one go.

The Zebra card printers are suited to monochrome and 4-coloured prints of middle and greater quantities of cards. They are equipped with a LCD display as well as a new card feeder. Optionally the cardprinters can be ordered with 3 tracks LoCo and HiCo ISO magnetic-stripe encoding module, chip-contact-unit and coding modules for transponder cards (RFID-cards). A card printer offering all options is also available.
