Re-transfer card printer for the print of middle and big quantities of plastic-cards.
The model variation Single Side is suited for the one-sided, the model variation Dual Side for the dual-sided printig of plastic cards. The IDP 8400i prints plastic cards in excellent quality. Even cards with electronic chip and transponder card can be printed rimless without quality losses. The printer is postprepareable with magnetic stripe modules, chip modules and RFID coding modules. The model variation Dual Side can be equipped, in addition, with the Bend-Remedy function (series by model variation Single Side). The Bend-Remedy function serves the correction of the card bend with a one-sided card print.

Options for IDP 8400i retransfer card printer

For the coding of magnetic stripe cards, cards with electronic chip or transponder cards, different coding options can be postprepared afterwards and in many combinations in the IDP 8400i card printers. This encloses the coding possibility of:

• Hitag transponder cards

For a single or dual-sided lamination of plastic-cards the IDP 8400i can be equipped with the lamination module IDP LM2. The LM2 laminates plastic-cards with overlay-foils or patch-laminates.

Consumables for the IDP 8400i re-transfer card printer

You achieve the best printing results with the application of original consumption material that we always have on stock for you. The iseries colour ribbons distinguish themselves by an easy use and 100 percent compatibility to your printer. If using an iseries colour ribbon in an iseries printer the ribbon will be identified and configured autmatically. Manual interventions are reduced therefore to a minimum.
For the IDP 8400i re-transfer printers we offer the following colour ribbons and re-transfer-films:

• 4-patch-colour ribbon, YMCK, approx. 1.000 cardsides/role
• 5-patch-colour ribbon, YMCKK, approx. 750 cardsides/role if 4-colour-print on the foreside and monochrom black print on the backside of the card
• 5-patch-colour ribbon mit UV-segment, YMCKUV, approx. 750 cardsides/role
• 5-patch-colour ribbon mit PO-segment, YMCKPO, approx. 750 cardsides/role

• Re-transfer-film, film for printing plastic-cards, approx. 1.000 cardsides/role

• Set of cleaning cards, consisting of 5 cleaning cards.
