The IDP-printerseries consists of direct printers and re-transfer printers, intended for the professional use to the production of high-quality printed plastic-cards.
An perfect extension for the printers is the lamination module. Hereby, the plastic-cards can be provided with a one-sided hologram or a hard-wearing patch-laminate, after the printing process.
IDP 680i Plus, IDP 460i and LM are printer trade names of Maxicard GmbH, distributing DNP card printers and consumables in Germany.

The direct printing technology
The IDP 460i's high printing speed in combination with its printing quality is especially captivating.
High ribbon-capacities from up to 750 4-colour-prints make it the ideal printer for middle and great quantities of cards.
Many coding options are available for the IDP 460i and allow a maximum of flexibility. The print occurs by means of dye sublimation printing directly on the card surface and is protected against mechanical influence by a clear protective foil.
The integrated UV filter counteracts fading by solar irradiation.

The re-transfer printing technology
The fascinating technology of the re-transfer printing is as simple as brilliant. The print layout is applied to a transparent re-transfer-film, which is transported by a certain mechanism to a laminated, heated roll.
The card to be printed is located under this lamination-roll. The mirror-image design is removed from the re-transfer carrier film and is applied to the card surface by heat effects of the lamination-roll. Because of the re-transfer-film, the printed information lies durable under a polyester layer.
The
IDP 680i Plus prints in outstanding quality on PVC, PVH, ABS, 100% PET and
polycarbonate card materials.
Wether barcodes, magnetic stripes or chips (contact or contactless) - the IDP 680i Plus encodes and prints optionally in one go.
Even cards with combined encoding technologies can be personalized at on time.
