Instead of christmas-gifts the MAXICARD GmbH, Gesellschaft für Kartensysteme, supports the DKMS (German Bone Marrow Donor Center, Tübingen) since 1996.
Today over 2,571,480 potential stem cell donators are registered in the DKMS and therefor it is worldwide the biggest file of that kind. Many can be helped by a stem cell transplant. Altogether, DKMS-donators could already give over 27,988 times new life hope.
For the further quantitative extension of this file, the DKMS has to rely on donations!
We would like to continue having a share in realizing the slogan "GIVE LIFE" as well as "TOGETHER AGAINST LEUKAEMIA - TAKE PART!" in the future.
In addition, we support different organisations as for example e.g. Unicef, DRK, Deutsche Krebshilfe, Care etc..
In 2008, Maxicard employees "rose the flag against leukemia " on 28th May, 2010 to express their solidarity with the DKMS. Occasion was the day of life donation with which the DKMS wants to thank its 2.5 million potential stemm cell donators as well as approx. 28,000 cash donators.
For many years Maxicard is donating regularly, instead of handing out christmas gifts to the business partners.
